Sticker Shock At The Gas Pump: New England Prices Have Jumped Again
(Concord, NH) - The latest survey of gas prices shows the average price of a gallon of regular in New Hampshire has jumped 8 cents in the past week.
According to gasbuddy.com, the average price Granite Staters are paying is $2.68 a gallon. That's 20 cents higher than a month ago and 36 cents higher than at this time last year.
Massachusetts driver are paying an average of $2.73 a gallon.
Vermont's average price is $2.76, matching the national average, and in Maine they are paying $2.77 a gallon.
