Stocking Up on Food? Here’s What I Saw When I Went to the Grocery Store
I've spoken to many people about the coronavirus and how it's affecting us. These pics below are from a grocery store I go to in York.
I spoke to one of the guys who works there and I asked him if food shipments are being affected. He said that the next few deliveries are almost double of what they normally do.
It's weird to see what people are flocking to. Toilet paper and facial tissue are the biggest sellers. Keep in mind that the food will be replenished. Some of the supplies will take longer as the demand is so high.
The next couple of days after I took these pics, most of those shelves were full again.
Oh...and here's a positive story with all this. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Fox Run too. I talked to the manager and asked if they were going to close. He said as of now, no and doesn't want to. He said that they have a lot of people relying on them to stay open including single mothers who work there that need to keep working.
Kudos, Buffalo Wild Wings!!
You can see how empty some of the supplies are in these photos below. Thankfully, grocery stores are doing all they can to make sure they have what people need. And like I said before, a few days after I took these photos, many of the shelves were stocked again.
It seems some of the in-demand items are facial tissues, water, canned veggies, pasta, meat and ramen noodles and other noodles.
Are you stocking up on anything?
