Stolen Boat Hits House In Center Ossipee
(Center Ossipee, NH) - Officials are trying to determine who was operating the boat that left the water and hit a home 75 feet away.
The 22-foot Four Winns boat had reportedly been stolen from a mooring at Bluffs Beach in Center Ossipee.
The boat left Ossipee Lake, traveled 75 feet across a beach and a road and struck the home on Deer Cove Road.
When Police arrived at the scene just after midnight Monday morning, the boat was still running, but there was no onboard.
Officials searched the area, but found no one around.
