You Can Rent Swimming Pools in New Hampshire and Maine Like an Airbnb Rental
I'm just going to get right into this comparison to set the scene...
You must be familiar with Airbnb and VRBO, right? Simply put, you can rent out your home to people (either your main residence or a secondary home) to make some extra money.
Well, a new(ish) app is taking that concept and making it a little more fun, less invasive, and way cooler.
In the summertime, everyone needs a pool. You do not need to own one per se; you just need to know someone with a pool.
It does not matter if you are six years old and want to do cannonballs, or in your 30s and want to have a few cocktails by a pool. Everyone needs a few pool days each summer.
Well, an app called SWIMPLY is taking the idea of Airbnb and VRBO and using the same concept, but with swimming pool rentals.
So, you can rent out someone's backyard swimming pool for an hour, two, or half the day. You can host birthday parties or have a quiet pool day for yourself!
And there are some unique, gorgeous, and inexpensive options around the New England area.
This pool is available for $49 an hour in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, for up to eight people. It features a nice in-ground pool, pool basketball hoop, and giant lounging chair.
Let's check out a few others in the area.
This stunner (below) is available in Newburyport, Massachusetts, for $60 an hour. For the additional $11 (compared to the pool in Rollinsford) you get 25 people, room for 10 cars, and a gorgeous setting.
This pool comes with a nice patio, night swimming, and is super close to downtown Newburyport.
Lastly, this unique pool rental is a crowd-pleaser. The price is only $31 per hour. The best feature is the unique camper/trailer.
It is a pool house, with an area to get into the shade and relax.
This house in Biddeford, Maine, is 420-friendly and can host up to 20 people.
To check out all of the pools for rent in the area, check out the Swimply website.
