Take a Sneak Peek Inside ‘Gift of Lights’ at NH Motor Speedway
To look at this whole pandemic with a glass half full mentality, I have engaged in a lot of different activities this year that I otherwise probably wouldn't do!
As much as I would love to go to a holiday party with a bunch of friends indoors, it isn't a great idea. Therefore I have been searching for safe and fun alternatives.
I went to check out the Gift of Lights at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this past Saturday night. They transformed the racetrack into a winter wonderland, and it did not disappoint.
We had so much fun driving though and taking in the amazing displays while jamming out to our favorite Christmas music.
The route is two and a half miles long and is illuminated by 3.5 million lights!
The tunnel of lights was by far my favorite part. I felt like I was in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Some new scenes you can expect this year are Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks, Mother Goose, Jack Be Nimble, Deer Beach Vacation and a package wrapping machine.
As I was driving though I couldn't help but wonder how long it takes to to get this light show up and running. According to the NHMS website, it took over 650 hours to assemble!
For only $25 a car, it is a really fun, festive, and safe activity this holiday season!
