Teen Who Survived Fiery Crash In New Hampshire Will Return To ‘Normal Life’
His miraculous recovery has been what his mother calls "unbelievable healing."
Four weeks ago, 18-year-old Samuel Lachance was involved in a horrific wreck on Rte 101 which ended with him flying to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with serious injuries. Now, according to WMUR News 9, he has been released from the intensive care unit. It's been an excruciating road, according to his mother, who told WMUR News 9 her son has suffered from small brain bleeds, broken bones and burns to his hands, face and eyes. However, he continues to mend. In fact, The Keene State College student is expected to "make a complete recovery and return to work, college and his normal life."
The incredible turnaround hasn't been lost on his mother. "Things we were told about his injuries and path to recovery seemed overwhelming and dire," she told WMUR "However, through pure strength, skill, prayers and intervention that I can't even wrap my head around, Sam began an unbelievable healing that stunned everyone."
"We are grateful beyond words."
