The Number of Deadly Car Crashes in NH is Staggering
Honestly, these numbers disturb me.
Having spent several years of my broadcast career reporting traffic, I've seen and reported on a lot of deadly wrecks. The images stay with you.
The number of traffic accident deaths in the Granite State so far this year is disturbing.
According to a report from WMUR, the New Hampshire Department of Safety, says the number of fatal accidents on New Hampshire roadways is up by a whopping 57 percent, compared to 2015.
Since January 1st, the report says there has already been 55 deadly accidents, with a total of 58 people losing their lives. That number is staggering.
Plus, consider that for the next several weeks, the roadways are going to be filled with tourists and vacationers trying to either get to their destination or they're coming home from their trips.
It seems trivial to say, but please be careful, drive defensively and remember we have a HANDS FREE LAW in New Hampshire.
