The Red Cross Needs Your Help

I just got this from the American Red Cross.  Please do what you can to help.

Since the beginning of January, winter storms and freezing temperatures have resulted in more than 450 cancelled blood drives and nearly 14,000 uncollected blood donations.  But in spite of the weather’s impact on donations the need for blood is constant.  There continues to be an urgent need for blood donors with type O, especially type O negative.  Please call 1-800-RED CROSS to find a blood drive or donor center near you.  Walk-ins are always welcome.  Please, make an appointment to give the gift of life today.
