So I did it. I got married last Saturday morning on the beach at sunrise in Isle of Palms, South Carolina...a beautiful island just a few miles from my favorite southern city, Charleston.

Madeleine and I went there for vacation back in August, and fell in love with the place. We stayed at a friend's home called The Bea's Nest. It's a beautiful historic home with magical charm. And not only was it the perfect spot to propose back in August, it was also the perfect spot to get married.

A lot of people were surprised I didn't talk about it on air, but we decided to elope. So we did our best to keep everything Top Secret. Yes, we told our children, a few family members, and a few friends. But since we've each been married before, we decided to keep it low key. There was no one else on the beach except the two of us, our wedding official, and the photographer. Oh yeah and that one guy who walked by with his dog!

It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony. Romantic. Simple and sweet.

We took a lot of photos on the beach after the wedding. Our photographer, Dennis, from Charleston Photo Art, did a remarkable job.

Here are my three favorites...
