I have a habit of binge watching TV shows. I couldn't tell you the last time I just sat down and watched just one episode of a show. I like to watch at least three or four episodes back to back. Lately I've been binge watching the new season of Orange Is the New Black. Sure a Netflix series about women in prison isn't for everyone...but I love the characters and the dark humor.

I just ran across an article in Business Insider, done by TV Time, of the most binge watched TV shows in 2018...and it seems like a lot of older shows are the most popular so far this year. As a matter of fact, 12 states can't get enough of The Office...including Massachusetts. Although the show went off the air five years ago, people still get a laugh out of the staff at Dunder-Mifflin.

Grey's Anatomy is the most binge watched show in six states. Mainers get all googly-eyed for Patrick Dempsey's Dr. McDreamy.

The last new episode of Friends aired on NBC in 2004. Heck, the characters in friends could all be old enough to have teenagers by now. But don't tell that to the folks in Vermont. They love those old episodes.

So what is every one bingeing here in New Hampshire? Well, Pokemon, of course! Yep...reruns of Pokemon. And Granite Staters have to work to watch it too. According to the article in Business Insider, the original series isn't available to stream, but seasons 14-16 are available on Hulu. A variety of the spin-off shows are available on Netflix.

So what are you binge watching this summer? Drop me a line and let me know. After all, I'm just about finished with Orange Is the New Black.
