This Boston Italian Eatery Is Forced To Close Its Doors After Over A Decade of Business
The Seaport area of Boston is developing at a rapid pace. It is very positive for many reasons. However, it is posing challenges for businesses who may have been there for many years and are struggling to compete with the plethora of new restaurants opening up. Unfortunately, Salvatore's on Northern Ave is one of those businesses.
According to Boston.com, the owner, Peter Ackerman, is heartbroken to have to close his Seaport location. Ackerman opened the location back in 2007.
Salvatore's downtown Boston location is standing strong. Ackerman said that they are looking into opening a Salvatore's Express/Catering location in the Seaport so that would be pretty cool.
But for now, the Seaport must say so long to Salvatore's.
