This Golden Retriever Puppy was Born Green

"It's not easy being green" were the wise words spoken by Kermit the Frog. He, however, wasn't nearly as cute as this very rare mint green Golden Retriever.

He answers to the name Forest and was one of nine Golden Retriever pups delivered by the mom named Rio. Forest was the only one with that minty green fur. According to WMUR, They later found out it is an unusual condition having to do with green bile pigment being found in the placenta.

Thankfully there are no health risks associated with Forest's condition. But I find it sad that his fur won't stay like that forever. Apparently, it has washed itself out quite a bit already. Sad! You could dress him up like the Grinch every year. Oh, well. The most important part is that Forest is healthy :)
