New Hampshire is not a state generally known or thought of for its cityscapes or high rise towers the way New York and California would be.

Other than the North Church spiral in Portsmouth and a few office towers in Manchester, which tall structure's are most notable on our municipalities' skylines? AND which is ugliest?!

The website "Insider," through MSN, lists the tall buildings they saw as the worst eye sores in each state regardless of how many they had.

Before we reveal the choice for NH's ugliest in our nearby states, here's what the article had to say about two other New England states.

Maine: Portland's Franklin Towers (noted for their drab design)

Massachusetts: Boston's 1 Beacon Street  (noted only for a bank ATM in it's lower level)

As for the Granite State? Brady Sullivan Tower in Manchester was listed (described as plain and nondescript)

It's worth mentioning iconic and famous structures like GM headquarters in Detroit and Nashville's AT&T or "Batman" building are also on the list.

Harsh! Wouldn't you agree?
