This Man Became the First Ever Cancer Patient to Reach the Summit of Mount Everest

Ian Toothill is a 47-year-old man who was diagnosed with bowel cancer about 2 years ago. Last year he thought he had beat it but just recently it has come back and the doctors told him he might only have a few months left.

He decided he wanted to spend the last few months of his life doing something truly epic. And what could be more epic than climbing to the top of Mount Everest?

He made it to the very top this past Monday and he is the first ever cancer patient to do so.
