This New England Dog Came Home To Her Family After Missing For 5 Years

There’s a family in Norwich, Connecticut who's dog ran away five years ago. After a few weeks they assumed that their Dashound had been eaten by a predator. If you are a pet owner you can sympathize with how devastating that is.

Well, this story is proof that miracles can happen! Just a few days ago an animal control officer spotted their 17 year-old dashound named Lady wandering around Mohegan Park in Norwich!

The control officer scanned the dog’s microchip and contacted the family after.

As you can see from the video, the owners were over the moon to be reunited with their Lady. Besides losing most of her sight and hearing, Lady seems to be holding up just fine and is happy to be back in her fur-ever home.
