Parents, it's that time of year to start looking at colleges for high school juniors, soon to be rising seniors. Does it really matter which school you attend for high school?  Some say yes, because not all high schools are created equal.

According to U.S.News & World Report, the magazine has just released its new rankings for public high schools across the country.  New England states didn't do as well compared to other states, with only one school in Massachusetts making it just outside the top 25 list.

How High Schools Are Ranked

Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college.  You can read more about the percentage breakdown in the report here.
