Wentworth-by-the-Sea is one of the most historic hotels in New Hampshire, and a Seacoast landmark. Located in New Castle, Wentworth was built in 1874 and OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS GINGERBREAD HOUSE!!!

Your wide eyes and longing tastebuds don’t deceive you. Those are regular-sized humans standing next to a giant ginger fortress that you can visit right now.

The Wentworth goes all out for the holidays, beginning with their Annual Illumination, which kicks off the season with a light show on the side of the historic hotel. After performances from strolling carolers, Santa appears in a horse-drawn carriage.

And after eating one of those giant gingerbread houses, a helicopter airlifts him back to the North Pole like King Kong.

Nah, just kidding. But really, look at these giant gingerbread houses. According to the Wentworth’s Facebook page, the attractions will be open throughout the holiday season, but lick – I mean, look, don’t touch.

These gingerbread houses are big. In fact, they’re so big…

The chef just listed them on Airbnb.

Tom Selleck tried to sell them a reverse mortgage.

UPS keeps leaving notes on the doors saying they’ll try again tomorrow.

Some jerk from Dover stole their neon green driveway marker guys.

Each house has its own Dunkin'.

Martha Stewart’s inside one gingerbread house, making even more gingerbread houses!

Even Brian Scalabrine’s like, “Now THAT’S a tall ginger!”

More people live in the gingerbread houses than in Newington, New Hampshire.

Want to see the giant gingerbread houses yourself? Swing by this Sunday, when the Wentworth hosts its Winter Wonderland Brunch.
