I used to think I was anti fruit on pizza. Don't get me wrong, I love pineapple but I think it belongs in a fruit salad and not thrown on my savory slice of 'za. However, after experiencing The Burg. in Pittsburg, New Hampshire I am whistling a different tune.

It is not every day you come across a mozzarella, bacon, blueberry pizza so despite my reservations on the pizza + fruit situation, I decided to give it a whirl. The blueberries and mozzarella cheese melt together to make this tart gooey mixture that is just delightful. And the bacon adds the savory flair that I thought id be missing when ordering a fruity pizza.

The moral of the story? If you have been a part of the "anti fruit on pizza" movement for many years, trying this pizza might make you change your ways.
