What’s Happening with the New Tucker’s Location in Newington, New Hampshire?
I love a good breakfast joint!
Most mornings I am up and out the door by 5 am to talk on the radio. Breakfast usually looks like me scarfing down a cup of cottage cheese while the commercials play. On the weekends I love to embrace a slow morning by going out to breakfast with my family. And now our baby has enough teeth that she can partake in pretty much all of the breakfast foods What a time to be alive!
Back when IHOP in Newington announced they were closing, I think me and all of the other breakfast enthusiasts were hopeful about what that big 'ole building would become. Will it continue to be a spot that pours hot coffee and serves smiles in the form of stacks of pancakes all day long? Time would tell.
And then in November of 2024, our prayers were answered. Tucker's, a popular New Hampshire breakfast and lunch eatery, announced they would be taking over the old IHOP location. This will be their second Seacoast location and their seventh in the state!
Amongst all of the sad news of restaurants closing at the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025, it's nice to hear some positive news and have something to look forward to.
Tucker's took over the lease on Jan 1 of 2025 and of course there are things that need to be done to prepare for opening including (but not limited to) replacing the roof, getting new fixtures and signage, and various other renovations. It sounds like this was not exactly a turnkey property and lot's of work will be done between now and opening day. Not to mention, they need to hire an entire staff!
When will Tucker's in Newington, New Hampshire, open?
According to a post shared by Tucker's on Facebook yesterday, renovations have kicked off and they are anticipating a Fall 2025 opening!
