Have you heard about this jury duty scam?

NECN.com is reporting that scammers posing as the Federal Warrant Service are calling people and asking for up to $800 for failing to appear in court for jury duty. First off, there is no such thing as a "Federal Warrant Service." Second, never trust anyone calling you on the phone for money.

Oh, and if someone attempts this scam on you authorities recommend contacting the local police or the U.S. Marshals at 225-1632 as soon as possible.
