I had to go up to Portland this morning, and I took what I call the back road (U.S. Route 1) up thru Ogunquit.

On the way there I saw something that was perfect in my eyes.

Keep in mind, me and my family are still new here, and this is our fist winter in New England.

The way the snow looked in the trees and how white it was something I'd never seen before. I've seen pics and videos of things like this but never thought I'd see it in real life.

Honestly, it was looking at a Norman Rockwell painting.

 

It's things like this that make me proud to live in New England!

My daughter even made a comment about how different this last storm looks from the last one.

Is it because there are way less leaves on the trees than the last storm? It just looks so different.
