Watch This Massive Fire Destroy A Yacht Docked In New Bedford, Massachusetts

An 82-foot yacht docked in New Bedford, Massachusetts was absolutely engulfed in flames Monday evening accelerated by 500 gallons of fuel, according to NBC Boston.

Miraculously and thankfully, no one was injured.

After some time, firefighters were able to put out the wild blaze that unfortunately destroyed the big boat.

The footage captured by NBC Boston's Kathryn Sotnik looks like something out of a Hollywood disaster movie.

After it was all said and done, hearing the reports of no injuries and no pollution is even more amazing.

The fire started around 5:30 yesterday evening and, according to witnesses, per NBC Boston, when fire crews initially arrived, the water that they used to try to douse the inferno had zero effect.

When the blaze was finally out, no less than THREE fire trucks equipped with 'Aqueous Film Forming Foam' were completely drained, the news station reported.

The docks ended up looking like a snowy scene from a Hallmark Christmas movie, yet more realistic.

My hat goes off to all the front-line rescue teams working this disaster, hours and hours of excruciating work in hot and humid conditions.

All the teams involved had the presence of mind to set up a 'pollution net', (the technical term for this is a boom) and by the looks of it, the gallons and gallons of foam were successfully contained.

The yacht was worth millions of dollars and purchased brand new within the last year, NBC Boston stated.

The cause of the blaze is still unknown and under investigation, the news station reported.
