Wearing White After Labor Day

I’m from the old school of thinking when it comes to wearing white after Labor Day. I can’t do it. 

I grew up with it being a major fashion 'DON'T' to wear white shoes/pants or pocketbooks before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

Now, let me clarify, I did not grow up wearing designer duds. (My dad worked at Sears and Roebuck, so my brother and I grew up in 'Toughskins' pants and 'Winners' sneakers!)  However, as I got older, it was a big no-no to wear white outside of the summer months.

So goodbye, comfy white sandals. Until we meet next year!
