WOKQ Virtual Sessions: Happy Hour With Locash Friday Night

So, the coronavirus may be keeping us from going to our favorite shows, but it can’t keep us from bringing you your favorite artists right to your own living room!

That's right, Virtual WOKQ Sessions, produced by Newburyport Bank, is in full swing.

Tomorrow, it's happy hour with two of our favorite guys. Chris and Preston from Locash will be joining us on Facebook at 5:30!

The guys have been going through some of the same things as us, including deciding what to do about their kids going back to school.  Chris told Taste of Country that he'd rather keep his 10 year old son at home:

"It's really weird in how it's affecting people so I was like, you know what, let's do the virtual thing ... then maybe January we can look to get back if there's a vaccine."

The guys recently celebrated another milestone with their song One Big Country Song hitting #1.  Rob Gronkowski and the Gronk brothers helped them celebrate and now Locash is going to release a song they all collaborated on together called Cloud of Dust.

A lot of exciting things are happening with the guys now.  In between celebrating, they are working on new music and say they can't wait to get back on the road.

They also participated in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff 2020 USO Holiday Tour where they visited US troops in Romania and Poland. The guys performed for our military members, participated in troop engagements and shared meals with our servicemen and women.
