Why was traffic stopped in Durham on Tuesday? There was a cattle drive on Route 4.

Cows from Miles Smith Farm visit Emory Farm in Durham each spring and stay until fall. WMUR.com reports the cattle spend time in each of three leased pastures in what's known as rotational grazing. In years past, this led to the cows loading into a trailer for a 200 foot trip across Route 4 to get to one of the pastures.

This year they opted for an old fashioned cattle drive! After the cows crossed, traffic mooved just fine.
