House in Massachusetts Has an Over-the-Top Halloween Display for a Good Cause

Our neighbors to the south in Massachusetts are bringing the HEAT when it comes to Halloween decor this year. And it's even better when proceeds for these fun and festive efforts go towards a great cause. This is exactly what a family from Westford, Massachusetts, is doing, and this is not their first rodeo.

According to WHDH, Melissa Krygowski and her husband Bob have a display featuring more than 30 fake skeletons in a 74-foot-long pirate ship, which they affectionately refer to as “the Funny Bone Bunch".

I wonder how long this takes to set up! Looks like a labor of love to me.

The pirate ship is a nod to the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.  "NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!" (I'm taking you back to fifth grade history class with that one).

The neighborhood has come to look forward to Melissa and Bob's displays each year, and the excitement starts brewing in early September. People start inquiring about Funny Bone Bunch season and when the display will be up. It's all kinds of awesome!

So far, hundreds of people have come by Melissa and Bob's house this year to see the Funny Bone Bunch for themselves. And the best part? Proceeds from the display go to Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund. Donors interested in contributing can use this QR code to donate:
