(Bow, NH) - A driver escaped serious injury Monday morning when his car was hit by a sheet of ice.

New Hampshire State Police say the driver was southbound on I-93 just after 8:30 Monday morning when the sheet of ice flew from the roof of a box truck and struck the cars windshield.

The driver suffered minor cuts to his hands and the car was towed from the scene.

The box truck continued southbound without stopping.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call State Police at 603-271-3636.
