A Rhode Island Woman Survived A Motorcycle Plunge Off The Mt. Washington Auto Road

(Pinkham's Grant, NH) - 52 year old Gloria Vega suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries in the Saturday afternoon crash.

NH State Police say Vega was headed down the auto road just before 1:30 when her Harley experienced a mechanical failure and she lost control of the bike.

The bike went off the road and plunged about 20 feet into nearby trees.

She is being treated at Central Maine Medical Center.
