For every weekend for the rest of March, Amesbury High School will be hosting a vaccination clinic for those 75 and older, according to newburyportnews.com.

As reported by newburyportnews.com in a press release issued by Amesbury Fire Chief Ken Berkenbush and West Newbury Health Agent Paul Sevigny stated that the collaborative of towns in charge of the vaccination clinic will receive 3,000 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and will start vaccinations on the weekend of March 13 and 14. They will continue through the end of the month.

The mayor of Amesbury, Kassandra Gove, told the news outlet, "I’m grateful that the state has recognized our efforts and will continue to provide the vaccine to us."

If you are over 75, you can visit the Massachusetts vaccine website to get more information on scheduling your shot.

As the vaccine supply increases, it is getting easier and easier to obtain an appointment for a vaccination.  I hope the supply can continue to keep up with the demand and we can all get back to normal soon.

My wife is scheduled for the vaccine on March 20th and I have to say I will be relieved when she gets it.
