Arrest Made In Rochester Overdose Death

(Rochester, NH) - A Rochester man has been arrested for Dispensing a Controlled Drug With Death Resulting and Resisting Arrest.

27 year old Ryan P. Kirk faces a court appearance tomorrow after his arrest Sunday afternoon.

Rochester Police say the arrest follows a lengthy investigation into the untimely overdose death at the Northgate Apartment Complex on June 24th of this year. Police allege that Kirk provided the Fentanyl to the victim.

Responding to a report of drug activity, Police spotted Kirk Sunday afternoon leaving a home on Charles Street. He ran off, but was apprehended a short time later on Sheridan Avenue.

Kirk is being held without bail pending his arraignment tomorrow afternoon in Strafford County Superior Court on the two felony charges.
