UPDATE: 3 Boys Charged in Sanford Mill Fire. Missing Men Found Safe & Sound
(Sanford, Maine) - Maine State Police say three boys from Sanford have been charged with arson in the fire that destroyed the Stenton Trust Mill over the weekend.
The Maine fire marshal's office said one 12-year-old boy and two 13-year-old boys have been taken to the Long Creek juvenile detention center in South Portland where they will await a court appearance in Sanford District Court.
Meanwhile, two homeless men who were reported to have been staying in the mill building have been located.
State Police say the two were found safe in Portland this morning.
Excavation equipment has been brought to the site to help stabilize the building.
