Trent Frederic had a memorable debut in a Boston Bruins uniform last night, and his parents couldn't have been more thrilled. Even when a fight broke out.

ESPECIALLY when a fight broke out.

Last night, Fredric made his NHL debut in a Bruins uniform. He was ready for the big time after having served as an alternate captain at the University of Wisconsin, where he scored 32 goals over two seasons. He was taken in the first round (29th overall) in the 2016 draft, according to USA Today.

Fredric and Winnipeg Jets forward Brandon Tanev got into it. The 6-2, 203 pound  Frederic got in 10 or 11 punches before taking Tanev down to the ice. The St Louis native did like any good son would do for his first big moment, invite his parents.

BONUS...they were totally into it.

You can see what NESN cameras hilariously caught. Bob and Gaye Frederic applauding wildly and excitedly high-fiving each other.

Talk about the ultimate proud parent moment.
