Get your ya-ya's out and your tongue desensitized for the hottest (literally the hottest) festival ever to come to New England and New Hampshire.

There are hot sauce festivals all over the country, but never in New Hampshire, and that's about to change.

This Saturday, July 30 at Smuttynose Brewery, The Spicy Shark from Portsmouth will host the 1st Annual New England Hot Sauce Festival. It'll be a night to remember, good or bad.  With over 30 hot sauce companies from the region on site, plus food vendors, food trucks, and of course some of the best beer in New England from Smuttynose Brewery, this is a must-attend event.

If you love "caliente" wings, you've come to the right place. There's a hot wings eating contest (with no warning to your gastro system), pepper eating contest, oh, and a hot sauce contest.  This will give you major FOMO if you miss it.

The participating hot sauce companies are listed at NewEnglandHotSauceFest.com

Whether you participate or just watch, it'll be great fun for the entire family.  There's a bouncy house, family friendly activities, local Seacoast vendors, and here's the best part...it's pet friendly, so bring your dog on a leash.
