Chocolate Covered Ice Cream Sandwiches from Dover, NH, Have Been Called ‘Life Changing’

My husband Steven has a MAJOR sweet tooth happening this Summer. Yesterday, we were on a quest for chocolate chip cookies in Portsmouth. It wasn't a want it was a need. (Could he be pregnant? I kid.) We finally found some at our fifth bakery believe it or not! Popovers had some that had just came out of the oven, THANK GOD!

I just saw the latest creation from Lickee's and Chewy's in Dover and if I got one for my husband he would die and go to peanut butter heaven. Lickee's and Chewy's are known on the Seacoast for thinking outside the box when it comes to innovative sweet treats and they have truly outdone themselves this time. This creation has a lot going on so allow me to break this down for you. It is Peanut Butter ice cream with peanut butter cups between two chocolate chip cookies. So its an ice cream sandwich situation. But the excitement doesn't stop there! Each peanut butter ice cream sandwich is dipped in premium milk chocolate and topped with Reese's Pieces!

Holy moly! They just about broke the internet when they posted the photo above. The response has been AH-MAZE-ING! One woman posted a picture of her leg in a cast with the question, "Do you deliver?" awww!! Someone bring this lady an ice cream sandwich! They don't deliver yet but they said they are looking into it. People also asked if this creation will only be available for a limited time. The response from L&C seems like they are learning towards making it a permanent menu item. YAY!
