Locals Are Stepping Up for the Family of a Beloved NH Pizza Shop Owner

Just about a week ago, I wrote about the heartbreaking and sudden passing of Marc Benedetti, the owner of Marc's Pizza & Subs.

Like so many people across New Hampshire, I was stunned by the news.

While it's natural to wonder what the future holds for the beloved restaurant, it's important to remember the family behind the business.

Marc leaves behind his wife, Erica, and their two sons, who are now navigating life after the unexpected loss of a husband, father, and provider.

Anyone who visited Marc's Pizza & Subs knows Marc was much more than a business owner. He poured his heart and soul into the restaurant. He greeted customers with a smile, remembered familiar faces, and helped make the restaurant a staple for countless families in Merrimack and beyond.

Whether it was a quick lunch, dinner after a long workday, or a stop after the kids' sports practices, Marc's Pizza & Subs became part of many people's routines. The overwhelming outpouring of support since his passing shows just how many lives he touched.

Now, Marc's sister-in-law, Adrienne, has started a GoFundMe to help support Erica and the boys as they face the financial challenges that often follow such a devastating loss.

Think of funeral expenses, utility bills, and rent for the business, to name a few.

One of the things I love most about New Hampshire is how communities rally around one another during difficult times. Already, as of Tuesday, June 2nd, over $11,000 has been raised.
