I don't need to explain this to anyone of any age - but especially parents with children - online security, or the lack thereof, is terrifying.

We are in a world where computers are writing news stories, AI can imitate your voice, and doorbell cameras can track what you do/your habits outside of your front door.

Bottom line - this stuff is scary. And it is only going to get worse.

Recently a study was done to see what states were the safest for child online safety, and New Hampshire tanked.

New Hampshire was ranked the 49th state for online child safety. In other words, New Hampshire's online security for our youth is bad.

It is outright dangerous.

The study looked at which states had the most online safety crimes/threats, the states with the most online cyberbullying, the states with the best online safety legislation, and the states that offered the most support for child mental health.

The highlights for New Hampshire:

NH ranked #50 (the worst) in cyberbullying.

NH ranked #48 in cyberbullying legislation.

In terms of crimes/threats and mental health support, the Granite State was ranked #30 - so the middle/end of the pack there.

Do you think NH needs to do more to protect our children from online bullying and crimes?
