This seems to happen quite often, and it's always a shock to me. In the few times I have bought a lottery or scratch ticket, I check them 42 thousand times to make sure I didn't miss anything and actually win big! We often hear about unclaimed lottery prizes, to which I say, "COME ON, PEOPLE!"

According to WMUR, a ticket worth $50,000 was sold in New Hampshire for the Powerball drawing over the weekend, and a winner has yet to come forward. The site goes on to say that the ticket was purchased through the state’s NH iLottery app.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 19, 31, 40, 46, and 57, with a Power Ball of 23 and a Power Play of 3. Players who match four numbers plus the Power Ball win $50,000.

The good news is that it's not a "you snooze, you lose" situation. According to nhlottery.com, all prizes must be claimed within one year of the date the prize was won. So if you are reading this and you bought the $50,000 winning ticket this past weekend, there is still time for you to claim your dough. Go get 'em, tiger!
