Drive Thru Coronavirus Testing At Pease
If you're experiencing symptoms like shortness of breath, dry cough, and fever, you may be worried that you've contracted Covid-19. Trying to find out where to get a test can get very complicated.
Drive-thru testing to see if you have Coronavirus is now available at Pease International Tradeport, according to Seacoastonline.com. ConvenientMD has partnered with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in New Hampshire to provide the testing beginning today.
Before visiting, you must first be evaluated at home by a provider using telehealth capabilities. ConvenientMD's marketing director Adam Rosenthal tells Seacoastonline.com that patients will have to pay for a ConvenientMD virtual urgent care visit to be evaluated for COVID-19. The cost for a virtual visit should just be your co-pay or without insurance $150.00. Rosenthal says that if you need to be tested after the virtual visit, the test will cost $51.31 which most likely would be covered by insurance.
Some insurance companies are also waiving their co-pays for this test, including Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, according to the article.
All New Hampshire residents can visit the site but, if under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian present. Seacoastonline.com says "Virtual Urgent Care services and COVID-19 screening and testing when indicated are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. To be evaluated for COVID-19, call (603) 570-2800."
