Fisher-Price Recalls Baby Seats Due To Fire Hazard
(Washington, D.C.) - The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall of the Soothing Motions Seats.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says it has received 3 dozen reports of the seats overheating and one report of a fire contained in the motor housing.
There have been no injuries as a result of the incidents.
The Soothing Motions Seats were sold between November of 2015 and this month by Amazon, Walmart, Target and other retailers.
There were 63-thousand of the seats sold in the U.S. The others were sold in Canada.
Consumers should contact Fisher-Price for a full refund.
