Former Sen. Scott Brown Helps Man Out of Flipped Over Car on I-495
Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown, and husband of NH First Congressional District candidate Gail Huff Brown helped a man get out of his car after it flipped over on Route 495 Wednesday morning.
The Republican and Ambassador to New Zealand under President Donald Trump was driving in Westford when the car flipped onto its roof, Brown wrote on his Twitter account.
"Pulled over and a few helpers flipped the car over and got the guy out. Amazingly not a scratch," Brown wrote.
Brown told Boston 25 News in a question on Twitter that one of the good Samarians who pulled over was a registered nurse who made sure the man was okay.
"I grabbed his phone and called his girlfriend and everything seem to be OK, so we left," Brown said.
The 62-year-old stepped down as CEO and Dean of the Faculty of New England Law in Boston in August 2021 as his wife began to test the waters of a run for Congress. She is now one of 10 candidates who will be on the Republican primary ballot on Sept. 13.
Scott Brown made his own unsuccessful run for U.S. Senate from New Hampshire in 2014, when he was defeated by Jeanne Shaheen.
