Founding Fathers Make Their Annual Stop in Dover on July 4th
Every July 4th, you can find our 'Founding Fathers' on the steps of City Hall in Dover, NH for the annual reading of the 'Declaration of Independence.' Did you know our very own News Director, Don Briand is a 'Founding Father?'
Well, sort of! For the past sixteen years, Don has portrayed John Adams in the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence.
This Monday, July 4th, Don will be dressed as John Adams alongside Garrison Players Arts Center performers Tom Dunnington as Benjamin Franklin and Rich Salvati as Thomas Jefferson. The reading will begin promptly at 9am on the steps of Dover City Hall. Mayor Karen Weston will also speak.
