Time to get out that ugly Christmas sweater and head over to Six Flags New England to kick off the season.

According to masslive.com, Six Flags is pulling out all the stops and featuring more than a million lights! The park is filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, tons of holiday displays that include a 50-foot walk down “Kringle Lane” and 13-foot-high illuminated gift boxes.

The news article states that you can see shows such as “Dancing Through the Snow” and Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Eve.” And don’t forget that many of the park’s rides will be open to give you a thrill.

Just to keep that holiday sprint rolling, per masslive.com, communications manager Jennifer McGrath said, according to masslive.com, that “guests are invited to donate a new, unwrapped toy valued at $25 or greater in exchange for a free ticket.”

You can help others and still enjoy the amazing display and fun of a day at Six Flags New England.

The “Candy Cane Crossing” train ride will be open and the “Wonderland Way” holiday light spectacular is sure to get even the most infamous Grinch excited about the holiday.
