Gas Prices Continue A Slow Decline

(Dover, NH) - The latest survey by gasbuddy shows prices have dropped by more that a penny a gallon in the past week.

Today's average price for a gallon of regular in New Hampshire is $2.49, the lowest in the New England states.

Maine's average price is $2.54, while in Massachusetts it's $2.56. Vermont motorists are paying an average of $2.60 a gallon.

Looking back over the past 10 years, the highest we paid in NH was $4.03 a gallon in 2008, and it dropped to a low of $1.58 in 2009.

Texas has the lowest gas prices today, averaging $2.21 a gallon. In Hawaii, they pay an average price of $3.41.
