Get Your Bobhouse Off The Ice By Sunday
(Concord, NH) - New Hampshire Fish & Game officials are reminding ice fishermen that , by state law, bobhouses (or ice shanties) have to be removed from the ice by the end of the day on April 1.
The law is designed to ensure that the bobhouse and it's contents don't fall through the ice. With the warming weather, the ice is thinning rapidly.
Failure to remove a bobhouse by the Sunday deadline could result in a fine and a one-year loss of the owners fishing license.
By the way, using a bobhouse as a bonfire is not allowed!
