The law is designed to ensure that the bobhouse and it's contents don't fall through the ice. With the warming weather, the ice is thinning rapidly.

Failure to remove a bobhouse by the Sunday deadline could result in a fine and a one-year loss of the owners fishing license.

By the way, using a bobhouse as a bonfire is not allowed!
