Gluten-free living is now more popular than ever! People are choosing to cut gluten from their diet for a multitude of reasons.

I myself am pro-gluten, but was recently blown away after indulging in a gluten-free cupcake. The quality and tastiness of the treat was not compromised due to the lack of gluten. In other words, I didn't miss it! Gluten-free options have come such a long way, and the gluten-free community doesn't have to feel left out of the fun. We love that for them!

If you are leaning into the gluten-free lifestyle and are looking for more options in the Manchester, New Hampshire, area, we have very exciting news for you. Dishon Bakery has opened in the Queen City!

Dishon is owned by a husband-and-wife duo! The husband, Evan, was diagnosed with Celiac disease in his early 20s. He struggled  for years to find a gluten-free bread that tasted like the bread he had eaten his whole life. For more than three years, Evan and his lovely bride Salomé developed homemade recipes to create the best-tasting and highest-quality gluten-free baked goods.

Once they perfected their recipes, they decided to open a family-owned and gluten-free bakery, and Dishon Bakery was born. According to their social media, the business used to be in the Philadelphia area. We are thrilled that they are opening a location in our neck of the woods.

They have looped in other New Hampshire-owned businesses like Rare Breed Coffee (out of Nashua), which will be available at the bakery, as well as gluten-free goodies from Peace of Mind Baking Company (Conway), Gluten Free Territory (Hampton), Loon Chocolate (Manchester), Mad Russian Apothecary (Derry) and Maple Nut Kitchen (Swanzey), which will be available for purchase. Gluten-free businesses, UNITE!

Dishon Bakery is now open for business on 915 Elm Street in Manchester. Stay in the loop on all things Dishon Bakery by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
