Hampton Beach Just Held Its First Ever Golden Egg Scavenger Hunt

Sometimes the best summer memories aren't planned, they're discovered. That was certainly the case during the inaugural Hampton Beach Mystery Hunt, which recently wrapped up after two lucky families found the event's hidden golden eggs and claimed the prizes inside.

The family-friendly scavenger hunt encouraged participants to follow clues throughout Hampton Beach, turning a day by the ocean into an adventure. Along the way, families had the chance to explore the area, stop by local businesses, and enjoy a little friendly competition.

While the mystery items have officially been found, it sounds like the real prize was the experience itself.

According to the Hampton Beach Facebook, one winner, Heather, shared that the hunt "made a fun day for 2 boys' birthdays," while another participant, Gayle, simply said, "We had so much fun hunting!!!" (Source: Hampton Beach Village District Facebook.)

The goal? Bringing families together to make lasting memories while showcasing everything Hampton Beach has to offer. And they accomplished just that!

The sponsors who helped make the event possible were local businesses such as McGuirk's Ocean View, Point Break, Rexall's, JB'S on the Boardwalk, Mrs. Mitchell's Gifts, Sand and Santa Gift Shop, and Airbrush Underground. You've got to love when the community shows up for one another!

On their social media, Hampton Beach says, "Hampton Beach becomes part of people's lives in ways we may never fully know. For generations, families have come here to celebrate milestones, create traditions, find comfort, and make memories that last a lifetime."

And they continue giving people new reasons to return, making Hampton Beach a tradition that never goes out of style.
