Hampton Lifeguards are Champions…Again

For the third straight year, the lifeguards of Hampton Beach have taken the gold in the NNELSC.

The lifeguards at one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state beat out other lifeguards for the top spot in the Northern New England Life Saving Championship.

The Hampton lifeguards came in first, with Ogunquit, Maine and Salisbury, Massachusetts taking 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Scores from both men's and women's categories are combined for the overall scores. So, next time you're soaking up the sun or riding the waves at Hampton Beach, make sure you congratulate the lifeguards on a job well done!
