Manchester, New Hampshire is about to get a little more Heav'nly... iykyk.

Let me explain!

If you’ve driven down Brown Avenue, you may have noticed a familiar building getting a complete revamp.

That's because Heav’nly Donuts is getting ready to open its newest location. According to a recent post shared by Heav’nly Donuts Merrimack, the Manchester location is “coming sooner rather than later,” although the business says an official opening date has not been announced yet.

The new shop is breathing life into a building that sat vacant for years. A local posted about the project describing it as a big change from the “run down abandoned building” which locals remember as a Citizen's Bank (and even a different bank before that).

And if you’re not familiar with Heav’nly Donuts, this isn’t exactly a brand-new name around New Hampshire. The family-owned business dates back to 1975, when George and Elaine Saragas opened their first location in Methuen, Massachusetts.

The company has since expanded throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts, with locations including Merrimack, Derry, Hooksett, Nashua, Windham, Brentwood and more.

One local wrote on their social media announcement, "So excited. Love the one in Hooksett. Donuts are amazing!"

While another said, "It's good to see them doing something with this building. It has sat empty for almost 20 years. When I was young it was a Hillsborough Bank and Trust and my mother used to clean it."

A building with that much history deserves to start a new chapter and what better way than with donuts?
