Heavy Flooding Causes One Death and Evacuations[NEWS]

(Portland,Maine) - Heavy flooding across the region has caused at least one fatality and emergency officials have evacuated downtown areas in some towns in Maine. 74 Year old Paul Oliver of Caswell, Maine was found dead after he stepped into a culvert and was swept downstream. Officials throughout New England are advising residents to avoid flooded roadways and prepare for overflowing rivers. Parts of northern and central Vermont are under flood warnings. Flood watches have  also been put in place in some New Hampshire towns.
