Speakeasies are super cool - because they are always hidden in plain sight. Speakeasies were first invented to hide alcohol, and consumers of alcohol, during Prohibition.

But now, speakeasies are just a fun way to find a hidden bar, often in big cities....or even in less populated states...

Boston's newest speakeasy, "Extra Dirty Cocktail Club," is like no cocktail club in the area (at least that I know of).

It's not a "regular" cocktail lounge. Instead, Extra Dirty offers cocktail courses.

Picture a five or seven course meal...now replace those food items with unique drinks!

At Extra Dirty Cocktail Club, guests are encouraged to buy tickets in advance. The tickets allow access to the club, the cocktail courses, and if selected, food courses as well.

Walk-ins are permitted if seats are available; however, there are ONLY 20 seats inside of Extra Dirty, so you may want to buy tickets on their website.

If you plan on having a "speakeasy" night, a night full of surprises at mystery locations, maybe pop into this convenient store that is NOT what it appears to be at all...
